What happens to the donations?
All donations go directly to Sopadad. Donations via feedthehungry.de and other payment options don’t pay the employees in Germany but completely reach Sopadad in Uganda.
What can your donation do?
- €10 – provides school supplies for a child for a full year
- €20 – supports travel costs to reach remote places for the MFM project.
- €50 – helps us build furnished space for more children in need.
- €600-900 – funds a full year of school fees for a child.
Volunteer
We always are grateful for helpers at the site – at any age or state of life. Volunteers are the heart of our work. By sharing your time, skills and passion, you help us bring sustainable change.
- Support our community projects on the ground in Uganda.
- Share your expertise in teaching, health care, IT, etc.
- Assist with fundraising , events and awareness campaigns.
- Contribute remotely through digital skills and advocacy.

Meet our CEO
Pauline Odee started SOPADAD in 2007 with the support of Rosa Weigl by giving children the opportunity to go to school who otherwise couldn’t afford it. While raising her own 5 children, she and her husband took more and more children into their home who had lost hope, giving them a new perspective and a safe place.
She manages Sopadad and is your contact for all inquiries.
